2 Timothy 2
Paul charges Timothy to be strong in grace and to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, committing what he has heard to faithful men who can teach others. He instructs Timothy to study to show himself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, and to flee youthful lusts while pursuing righteousness, faith, charity, and peace.
