Psalms 112
The psalmist describes the blessings of the one who fears the LORD and delights in His commands — prosperity, generosity, a secure heart, and triumph over enemies. The wicked see it and are vexed, but the righteousness of the godly endures forever.

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. | Praise the LORD. Blessed are those who fear the LORD, Who find great delight in His commands.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. | Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. | Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever.
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. | Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. | Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.
Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. | Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. | He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. | Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. | They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor.
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. | The wicked will see and be vexed; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
