Haggai 1

The returned exiles have built their own paneled houses while the LORD's house lies in ruins. Because of this, the LORD has withheld rain and blessing — they sow much but harvest little. Haggai calls them to go up to the mountain, bring wood, and build the house. Zerubbabel, Joshua, and all the remnant obeyed, and the LORD stirred their spirit to begin the work.
