1 Peter 1

Peter writes to the scattered believers, praising God for the living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ and for an inheritance incorruptible, reserved in heaven. He urges them to rejoice even in trials that prove their faith, to be holy in all conduct, and reminds them that they were redeemed not with corruptible things like silver and gold but with the precious blood of Christ.
